Matt Mullenweg is best known as the founding developer of WordPress, the blogging software he guided from a handful of users to the most widely used open source blog tool. It’s also the software powering GeekBerry.net, Goverment and other websites.
“New Blackberry App to be released soon”
At WordCamp in San Francisco, Matt gave his “State of the Word” presentation where he said a“new Blackberry App [will] be released soon.”
Hopefully, the application will be nothing like the iPhone app which is virtually useless. The iPhone version has no picture placement settings, html code manipulation, or video embedding.

Yahoo Inc. won’t pursue its mobile for smartphones app, the company said Monday.
