As scheduled, T-Mobile has gone ahead and made the BlackBerry 8120 Pearl available to the general public. This model is the second ‘BlackBerry compatible with T-Mobile’s Hotspot@Home UMA calling service, joining the stable alongside the BlackBerry Curve 8320.
Nothing crazy to report on the feature side, with the 8120 sporting Wi-Fi, a 2 megapixel camera, externally accessible microSD slot, and an “improved” SureType keypad. That said, it is the newest BlackBerry currently available in the States, so if cutting edge technology is your thing, you might want to hit the local T-Mobile store and swoop one up. Expect to pay $150 with a two-year agreement.
