BlackBerry Tips and Tricks - a Howto on Copying Text in A Message and Pasting it into Another Application Curve 8300 - 8310 - 8320 - 8330
ALT key = :alt: has half moon on top of it. left side of keyboard below the A.
(Newer blackberry devices have “ALT” spelled out on the key)
CAP key = :cap: bottom right key (AKA SHIFT key)
- Press the Shift key and roll the trackball.
- Click the Trackball
- Click Copy
- Place the cursor where you want to paste the text
- Click the Trackball
- Click Paste
In a message, place the cursor before the text that you want to copy
- Againg, placing the cursor before the text that you want to copy
- Press the Menu Key
- Choose Select
- Roll the trackball to select the text
- Press the menu key and now select Copy
You can also do it the manual way by;
