For Older BlackBerry Models
To hide a Home screen icon on a BlackBerry Wireless Handheld:
- 1 - Select an icon on the handheld Home screen.
- 2 - Press the Alt key and click the trackwheel.
- 3 - From the drop down menu select Hide Icon.
To reveal a hidden icon on the Home screen:
- 1 - Select any icon on the handheld Home screen.
- 2 - Press the Alt key and click the trackwheel.
- 3 - From the drop down menu select Show All.
To rearrange/move the icons on the handheld,
- 1 - Press the ALT key and select an icon you would like to move by clicking the trackwheel.
- 2 - Select ‘Move Application’ from the dialog box.
- 3 - Using the trackwheel, move the icon to the desired location.
- 4 - To place the icon, click the trackwheel.
For Newer BlackBerry Models
To hide a Home screen icon on a BlackBerry Wireless Handheld:
- 1 - Select an icon on the handheld Home screen.
- 2 - Press the BlackBerry Menu key and click the trackball.
- 3 - From the drop down menu select Hide Icon.
To reveal a hidden icon on the Home screen:
- 1 - Select any icon on the handheld Home screen.
- 2 - Press the BlackBerry Menu key and click the trackball.
- 3 - From the drop down menu select Show All.
To rearrange/move the icons on the handheld,
- 1 - Select any icon you would like to move on the handheld Home screen.
- 2 - Press the BlackBerry Menu key and select ‘Move’ from the dialog box.
- 3 - Using the trackball, move the icon to the desired location.
- 4 - To place the icon, click the trackball.
