To “multi-select” Emails/Messages on your BlackBerry Storm, place a finger on the first message and simultaneously place another finger on the next message to be highlighted, a new box will appear which is cancel multiple selections, you can now remove your fingers. At that point you are in “multi-select” mode. You know this by the little blue square box in the lower right-hand corner.

While in this mode, you can scroll down OR up to select as many email records as you like. Once you’ve made your selection you can do whatever with the group. To cancel the selection, hit back arrow, click the little blue box, or use the menu.

You can’t highlight individual emails only adjoining ones to the original one selected.

BONUS
For selecting additional text while reviewing contact notes, email text, etc, touch AND hold (no click) the beginning of the selection then touch the end of the selection. If you want to copy the text for later pasting, use the BB menu key to popup the menu and select Copy or some other action.
