Just in time for the launch of BlackBerry App World, Slacker has updated its popular Slacker for BlackBerry OS app. The updated Slacker app adds the ability to view song lyrics, create custom stations based on specific songs, and—significantly—Bluetooth support. That means users can listen to Slacker radio stations with wireless stereo headsets, car kits, and other Bluetooth peripherals.
As before, users can also listen to over 100 expert-tuned Slacker stations as well as create their own. Artist biographies and album reviews are also viewable through the mobile version. The free app works on BlackBerry Pearls, Curves, Bolds, Storms, and Flips.
If you’re a music fan with a recent BlackBerry, download Slacker from RIM’s new mobile app store.
