The new BlackBerry Curve 8900 makes keeping in touch with the office, family, and friends easy thanks to the smartphone’s extensive set of features, including: built-in Wi-Fi, a fast processor (512Mhz), GPS, and an astounding high resolution display.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is available now from Vodafone Italia retail stores and online at www.vodafone.it for the price of 429€.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone comes complete with phone, email, messaging, organizer, web browser and multimedia applications, providing users with access to text, music, video, and maps on the go. It also features an easy-to-use, full-QWERTY keyboard and an intuitive trackball navigation system – all encompassed within an eye-catching design. Its full-featured media player supports media streaming and can play all your favorite songs and videos right when you want them. The microSD/SDHC expandable memory card slot supports up to 16GB per card, giving users plenty of media storage (1GB included with Vodafone). With its new 3.2 megapixel camera, including auto focus, flash and digital zoom, you can take sharp, print-quality pictures, which can then be simply and quickly posted on the Internet or shared with friends.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone has a beautiful 2.4 inch HVGA+ display (480×360 resolution), which presents images in vivid color and makes text crisp and clear for easy reading. It also provides flexible connectivity with built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and can help people get around town using its GPS capabilities. The stylish and classy smartphone is the slimmest full-QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone to date (measuring approximately 110 grams and 109 x 60 x 13.5 millimeters) and is comfortable with either one-handed or two-handed use.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is a quad-band smartphone, providing global connectivity for fast data access and web browsing. The smartphone is supported on both BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Tariff information

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone is available for any customer at 429€ through Vodafone Italia in both online and retail shops.

Vodafone Italia customers need to subscribe to the Vodafone Pack for BlackBerry data plan, which enables customers to make use of BlackBerry Internet Service and enables access to the Internet, email, Instant Messenging (IM) and a wide range of mobile applications. The Vodafone Pack for BlackBerry plan is available at the price of 10€ per month for post-paid customers and 3€ per week for pre-paid customers.

The new BlackBerry Curve 8900 is available for free to business customers that connect for a minimum of 24 months on a 19€ per month data plan, which includes connection to BlackBerry Internet Service. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone is also available as part of the Vodafone Mio Business Tutto data plan for BlackBerry Enterprise Server for an additional 7€ fee. All prices exclude VAT.
